Medical Use and Dosage – mode of administration
ARCTIUM LAPPA is mainly used to treat many conditions such as constipation, flatulence, abscesses, dropsy, acne, scarlet fever, flu, snakebite, measles, scrofula, anorexia and smallpox. In all aforementioned health problems can be used powdered herbal substances that can be taken 1 capsule 3 times daily.
In dealing with seborrhoeic skin conditions such as psoriasis, prurigo and acne, can be used dry extract, as we take 1 capsule 2 times daily.
Also, it is used for the treatment of kidney diseases, and to promote urinary and digestive elimination functions. It can be taken in tincture 50 drops 1 – 3 times daily or liquid extract. In case of liquid extract we use 25 – 50 drops 1 – 3 times daily.

Combinations & Contraindications
In case of skin problems, it can be combined with Rumex Crispus, Galium Asparine and Trifolium Pratense.
It is contraindicated to be used during pregnancy without medical surveillance.
