Medical Use and Dosage – mode of administration
BETONICA OFFICINALIS is used as anti-inflammatory remedy. In digestive system, it is indicated as spasmolytic, sedative, and antifungal. It is indicated in gastro-intestinal irritability. Also, it is a very good remedy as anti-diarrheic, and deals with health problems in the urinary system as diuretic.
Betonica is a relaxing remedy that deals with big stress. Is used as gentle stimulant with emphasis upon the cerebral circulation and neuralgic conditions.
It is indicated in respiratory system for bronchitis and for asthma. It is also expectorant, and very good remedies for whooping cough.
In all aforementioned health conditions can be used in herbal tea, 3-4 times daily.
In case of liquid extract, the suggested dosage is 1 – 4 drops daily.
Combinations & Contraindications
It is contraindicated to be used during pregnancy without medical surveillance.
