Medical Use and Dosage – mode of administration
VITIS VINIFERAE L. FOLIUM is used to relieve symptoms of discomfort and heaviness of legs related to minor venous circulatory disturbances, and itching and burning associated with haemorrhoides.
It is also a very good remedy for symptomatic treatment of cutaneous capillary fragility.
It is also antitumor, anti-carcinogenic, anti-atherosclerotic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, improves vascular activity and protects the liver.
In all aforementioned health problems, it can be used in herbal tea and the suggested dosage is 3 times daily.
It is also used to relieve symptoms of tired legs, in soft extract in a cream base, and it can be applied a thin layer on the affected area, 1 – 3 times daily.

Combinations & Contraindications
Vitis is combined well with Vitis Vinifera Tinctoria and Fumaria Officinalis. in cases such as icterus with asthenia, nausea and anorexia. It is contraindicated to be used during pregnancy without medical surveillance.
